It has been announced that Barbra Streisand is the 59th winner of the 2023 SAG Life Achievement Award. Netflix will livestream the 30th Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards on February 24, 2024. The SAG Awards recognize outstanding performances in movies and television for individuals and ensembles in recently released content.
The SAG Life Achievement Award
The SAG Life Achievement Award is the highest honor the SAG-AFTRA can bestow on those in the entertainment world. Actors honored by this annual award demonstrate “outstanding achievement in fostering the finest ideals of the acting profession.”
Recipients of this award are nominated and voted on by their peers who are part of the over 122,000 SAG members, making it the largest voting body for entertainment awards. Recent recipients include Sally Field, Helen Mirren, and Robert De Niro.
