Anyone who’s been missing Halloween Heists and “title of your sex tape” jokes will be happy to learn that Brooklyn Nine-Nine is streaming now on Netflix as of February 26. The streaming giant acquired four seasons of the series, expanding its comedy library with one of the most popular sitcoms of the 2010s.
‘Brooklyn Nine-Nine’ Available on Multiple Platforms
In the ever-changing streaming landscape, Netflix seems to be in the business of acquiring titles that were once exclusive to other services. The HBO original Insecure recently became available on the platform after being available only on Max for quite some time, and now it has the rights to Brooklyn Nine-Nine, which could previously only be found on Peacock. While Insecure can be streamed in its entirety on either platform, streamers have to go to Peacock to watch Seasons 5 through 8 of Brooklyn Nine-Nine.
More Acquired Titles Recently Added and Coming Soon to Netflix
Despite being the shortest month of the year, February brought a slew of acquired titles to Netflix. In addition to Brooklyn Nine-Nine, Young Sheldon Season 6, all seasons of Monk, The Blacklist Season 10, all seasons of Warrior, and The Real World Season 9 joined the platform. The streamer secured quite a few hit movies, too, including The Great Gatsby (2013), How to Train Your Dragon 2, It (2017), Magic Mike’s Last Dance, Moneyball, The Other Boleyn Girl, Something’s Gotta Give, Horrible Bosses 2, Crossroads, Marcel the Shell with Shoes On, and the 2023 Best Picture winner Everything Everywhere All at Once.
March will bring an onslaught of newly acquired content to Netflix users, too. Bonnie and Clyde, Dumb and Dumber, Godzilla (2014), Love & Basketball, Step Brothers, Bodies Bodies Bodies, and the complete collections of The Amazing Spider-Man, Kill Bill, and The Hunger Games and more will all be available before the month ends. As for series, all of The Jamie Foxx Show, all of The Resident, Eye Love You Season 1, Girls5Eva Seasons 1 and 2 (and the Netflix exclusive Season 3), Love & Hip Hop: New York Seasons 1 and 2, The Conners Seasons 1 through 5, all of The Vikings, and a variety of children’s shows will appear on the platform throughout March.
Netflix has some anticipated originals coming in March, too, including Season 1 of The Gentleman, a spin-off of the 2019 Guy Ritchie film of the same name; Damsel, a fantasy film starring Millie Bobby Brown; Irish Wish, a rom-com starring Lindsay Lohan; and 3 Body Problem, the series adaptation of the sci-fi novel of the same name.
