Max’s already robust library of films is increasing in December with notable additions. The streaming platform will round out its end-of-the-year offerings with season finales, new episodes of popular series, and other pieces of content, as well.
Films Coming to Max in December
The most anticipated title to join Max in December is 2023’s highest-grossing film, Barbie. The Greta Gerwig feature has been available to rent at home for months now, but this will be the first time it has been available to streamers for no additional cost.
Other films new to the platform this month are Goldfinger, Die Another Day, Skyfall, Jurassic World, five of the seven Paranormal Activity films, the first two Bill & Ted films, Jack Ryan: Shadow Recruit, Jackass Presents: Bad Grandpa, Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials, Semi-Pro, Man on Fire, and The Spy Who Loved Me. No release date has been announced for Barbie, but all other films new to Max are streaming now.
Upcoming Season Finales and Specials
As for series, the Season 2 finale of the horror series 30 Coins is dropping on December 11. The Season 2 finale of The Gilded Age, the period drama featuring Cynthia Nixon and Christine Baranski, will come to Max on December 17.
Additionally, Hard Knocks: In Season with the Miami Dolphins is airing new episodes throughout the month, the comedy special Leo Reich: Literally Who Cares?! is coming December 16, and the documentary Murder in Boston: Roots, Rampage & Reckoning dropped today, December 4. Two other documentaries, Great Photo, Lovely Life and Time Bomb Y2K, will be available to stream on December 5 and December 30, respectively.
