Where To Watch the Best Sketches From Netflix’s ‘I Think You Should Leave with Tim Robinson’ Season 3

I Think You Should Leave with Tim Robinson is now three years into its mission to bring surreal cringe-inducing sketch comedy to the Netflix masses. With hardly any connections between each of ITYSL‘s six new episodes, viewers can joyfully binge them in any order. Here are the six best sketches (and where to find them) to whet your appetite for Robinson’s amusing brand of humor.

“Is Ronnie here for the right reasons?”

(Season 3, Episode 1)

One of the best sketches of this new season shows up right near the start: set on the dating show parody Summer Loving, contestant Ronnie is not ready to leave, but his purpose there will surprise you. The essential factor of Robinson’s design of I Think You Should Leave is a commitment to normalcy in all but one uncomfortably erroneous individual, and this sketch hits every mark in an atypically pure fashion. Of course, it’s no less bizarre than any other sketch, featuring the best roundedness in Season 3 with a callback segment in Episode 5.

“James asks for a ride home.”

(Season 3, Episode 1)

Look out for many ITYSL memes and YouTube videos featuring this one; you can find it online as “The Driving Crooner,” an instantly iconic Tim Robinson invention that belongs nowhere else but this weird show. As the Crooner says of his bizarre car service gambit, “It’s simply too good.”

“Consider a high-security dog door!”

(Season 3, Episode 2)

Like on the beloved “Corncob TV” sketch from Season 2 (perhaps better known as “Coffin Flop”), Robinson’s fake commercial for a dog door plumbs farther into the depths of human absurdity than almost any other parody advertisement has dared. Rapid-fire editing, genre-blending direction, and Robinson’s signature ranting voice prove that Season 3 is going as extreme as ever.

“A doctor monitors a patient’s heart.”

(Season 3, Episode 3)

Like-minded comedian Tim Heidecker (Tim & Eric Awesome Show, Great Job!) has shown up throughout the three seasons of I Think You Should Leave, each time leaving a memorable showcase of his mild-mannered characters. As the doctor in question, Heidecker’s job of balancing heart rate spikes is secondary to his desire to get into the nightclub Haunted House. When he intrudes on his patient’s life while attempting to get an invite, hilarity ensues.

“Paying it forward.”

(Season 3, Episode 3)

Robinson’s turn-on-a-dime sketches and characters have a dynamic power that often exceeds a purely crazy approach. What begins as a classic drive-thru act of kindness turns into a calculated bit of chaos, led by a typical Tim Robinson character that does not understand how to live in human society.

“A proposal spot does double duty.”

(Season 3, Episode 4)

The avid viewers of ITYSL know that the guest spots are some of the most memorable parts of the series, and that is often because of the eternally lovable Sam Richardson (The Afterparty). His past appearances in Robinson’s work included the “Baby of the Year” and “The Ghost of Christmas Way Future” sketches, and, in Season 3, he tops off his collection with Pacific Proposal Park, both the perfect proposal spot and the perfect wrestling spot.
