These Reality Stars Should Join ‘The Traitors’ in Season 3

Alan Cumming, host of 'The Traitors'

Peacock’s hit reality series The Traitors, adapted from the Dutch show De Verraders, has garnered loads of viewers since its Season 2 debut last week. While audiences are devouring the new episodes, they’re also discussing who should be part of the cast next season. Though a third season has yet to be confirmed by Peacock, we imagine it’s forthcoming. While we wait for an announcement, ponder these reality stars as potential contestants on The Traitors

Monica Garcia

Monica Garcia (who has also gone by three other last names) became the breakout star of Season 4 of The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City thanks to her unfiltered mouth and surprising backstory. She cemented her place as a reality TV legend when it was revealed that she was an FBI informant in the case against her former boss/friend and former cast member Jen Shah and that she was behind the troll Instagram account Reality Von Tease. Need we say more as to why she’d make a great Traitors contestant?

Erika Jayne

We feel confident suggesting another Housewife as a Traitors contestant because both seasons have featured at least one, with Season 2 starring four. If anyone in the Housewives franchise has proven that she can play the game, it’s Erika Jayne. She’s also got name recognition beyond Bravo thanks to her estranged husband Tom Girardi’s legal issues. Contestants and viewers alike would be equally wary and in awe of Erika Jayne.

Spencer Pratt

Spencer Pratt was a reality TV villain for well over a decade, but through TikTok, he’s had a bit of a renaissance. If one of the most hated men in reality history can charm his way back into the zeitgeist simply by promoting crystals and opining about random topics, he can absolutely survive on The Traitors. This man clearly wants another 15 minutes of fame, and Peacock should give it to him.

Tom Sandoval

If there’s one man in reality TV history who faced more intense public hatred than Spencer Pratt, it’s Tom Sandoval. The namesake to Scandoval, the biggest reality TV moment of 2023, Sandoval is already a traitor in the eyes of many – he might as well have the chance to earn some money at it. While some might think he doesn’t deserve a platform (which is fair), he already has one, and he makes good TV.

Christine Quinn

We can’t imagine a world in which Christine Quinn would return to Selling Sunset, but there might be one in which she returns to reality TV. Quinn would be perfect for Traitors. She’s got the attitude and the wiles necessary to outwit everyone, but those who aren’t familiar with her reality real estate stint won’t see it coming. She’d be a fantastic addition to the series.

Jon Gosselin

Every competition needs an underdog, and who better for The Traitors than disgraced reality star Jon Gosselin? The former star of Jon & Kate Plus 8 has stayed largely out of the spotlight since his divorce and subsequent fall from TLC, and plenty of contestants might not know who he is anymore. This could give him an advantage that surprises the entire cast.

The Traitors is streaming now on Peacock.
