Streaming Now: The Top Comedies We’re Watching This July

New York, NY - April 30, 2019: Seth Rogen attends premiere of Long Shot at AMC Lincoln Center Theater

Work is stressful. Life is hard. The news is exhausting – sometimes we all just need an escape, right?  Nothing takes us away from all of the stress of life like a good laugh. That’s why it’s time to talk about all the top comedies to watch this month. Sit back, turn on one of these shows, and laugh until you just can’t laugh anymore.

It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia

It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia made it into our list of best sitcoms of all time, and clearly, we’re not the only ones who feel that way. The series described by many as “a raunchier Seinfeld” is still going strong after 16 years on the air. Season 16 just started with new episodes airing weekly. We’ll be tuning in every week, without a doubt.

It’s Always Sunny In Philadelphia is streaming now on Hulu.

Platonic

The new series starring the always hilarious Seth Rogen and the effortlessly charming Rose Byrne about two childhood friends who reconnect as adults has our hearts. Apple TV+ is on a hot streak; Platonic is another hit. Oh, and in case you were confused –  no, this is not another sequel to Neighbors.

Platonic is streaming now on Apple TV+.

FUBAR

The newest action comedy on Netflix, FUBAR, stars everyone’s favorite hero/terminator/governor Arnold Schwarzenegger. We don’t think anyone expected much from this show, but ultimately, it’s an easy and enjoyable watch, and it’s very refreshing to see Arnold in front of the camera again.

FUBAR is streaming now on Netflix.

The Bear

The Bear was one of 2022’s surprise hits. Centering around a young chef from the fine dining world who returns to Chicago to run his family’s sandwich shop, this series has all the food, comedy, and drama you could ask for. Season 2 premiered June 22. If you haven’t binged it already, you need to.

The Bear is streaming now on Hulu.

Beef

Beef, starring beloved actors Steven Yeun and Ali Wong, takes the consequences of road rage further than anyone ever imagined they could go. The series is produced by the fan-favorite A24 studios, and the consensus across the board is that they knocked it out of the park. Beef is hilarious, dramatic, and emotionally compelling. Don’t miss it.

Beef is streaming now on Netflix.

The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel

Multiple Emmy-award-winning comedy The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel is one of IMDb’s top-rated TV series, and it’s not hard to see why. Rachel Brosnahan is absolutely delightful as the titular mother of two who, after her husband leaves her, discovers her true calling – standup comedy. The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel is bold, daring, and downright funny. Now is the perfect time to watch, since the fifth and final season just dropped.

The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel is streaming now on Prime Video.
