June is here, and you know what that means! Summer is just beginning and it’s time to get the vibe right. And nothing gets the vibe right like the perfect summer movies. Here are some of the best ones and where you can watch them right now. You can thank us later.

The Sandlot

We’re not in charge of giving awards to movies, but if we were, this would be crowned Best Summer Movie of All Time. The Sandlot is about a group of kids who play baseball together every day in the summer of 1962. Needless to say, they end up on a lot of wild adventures.

Point Break

To be clear, we mean the 1991 classic starring  Hollywood heartthrob Keanu Reeves early in his career, not the unnecessary 2015 remake that should be forgotten. With a plot revolving around a bunch of surfers and an undercover FBI agent who suspects them of being bank robbers, Point Break just has that summer vibe paired with the perfect amount of cheesy ’90s goodness.

(500) Days Of Summer

If you weren’t already in love with Zooey Deschanel, you will be after watching this movie. With standout performances from Deschanel and Joseph Gordon-Levitt, (500) Days of Summer really immerses you in its world, guiding you through the peaks and valleys of the characters’ romance. Perfectly mixing the nostalgic sad and sweet feeling of a summer night, this one will stick with you long after it’s over.

Lords of Dogtown

Lords of Dogtown is the quintessential surf-and-skate scene movie. Chronicling the story of the skateboarding movement in the early ’70s, we see the adventures of the legendary Z-Boys, the guys who pioneered it all. As an added bonus, it stars the late great Heath Ledger in his prime. This film oozes that summer feeling through and through.

Moonrise Kingdom

Wes Anderson. That’s all. Not enough? Okay, Moonrise Kingdom is about two young lovers who run away together, which spurs a search party to look for them. It has all the classic Wes Anderson touches, with beautiful colors, quirky characters, and plenty of Bill Murray and other frequent collaborators. Moonrise Kingdom is Wes Anderson’s take on summer. Who wouldn’t want to see that?

The Way Way Back

The Way Way Back is one of the best and most undersung coming-of-age movies Hollywood has produced. With an unsurprisingly great performance from fan-favorite Steve Carrell and a star-making performance from Liam James (who plays 14-year-old Duncan), The Way Way Back touches on themes like friendship, fitting in, and divorce – subjects that can resonate with anyone. Oh, and most of the action goes down at a water park. The summer feeling is so vibrant in this movie that you can almost feel the heat coming through the screen.
