Apple TV+ is about to be the premier streaming destination for anyone seeking new content. Whether a byproduct of the 2023 strikes or a potential investment in the platform, late winter and spring of 2024 will bring a plethora of new series and seasons to Apple TV+, many of them seeking to draw audiences with prominent and award-winning actors.
New Series Abound on Apple TV+
New series are set to hit Apple TV+ as early as next week. On February 14, The New Look drops, dramatizing famed designers Christian Dior and Coco Chanel’s work in fashion during World War II. Two days later, The Dynasty: New England Patriots and Snoopy Presents: Welcome Home, Franklin join the platform. The following week, Constellation premieres, a psychological thriller set in space, as does Messi’s World Cup: The Rise of a Legend.
March brings the new shows The Completely Made-Up Adventures of Dick Turpin, a comedy series about the life of the eponymous Brit; Manhunt, a limited series based on the book of the same name; and Palm Royale, another limited series based on a novel which boasts stars Kristen Wiig, Allison Janney, Laura Dern, Ricky Martin, Leslie Bibb, and more. Come April, we’ll be introduced to the series Sugar, Girls State, and Franklin, with Dark Matter and Presumed Innocent coming in June and Land of Women to come sometime this summer.
Plenty of Returning Favorites
It’s not often that Apple TV+ produces series that aren’t worthy of multiple seasons, as evidenced by the shows soon returning for new seasons. On March 8, Season 2 of The Reluctant Traveler with Eugene Levy will air, and Season 2 of Fraggle Rock: Back to the Rock comes at the end of that month. In early April, we’ll be treated to Season 2 of Loot, the Maya Rudolph-led series about the ex-wife of a billionaire trying to shed her former husband’s shadow and do good with her money.
That same month, Rudolph’s Bridesmaids co-star Chris O’Dowd returns with the second season of his series, The Big Door Prize. In May, Season 3 of Acapulco hits Apple TV+, as does Season 4 of Trying. The platform has also promised more Peanuts offerings to join its family of content. With new series and seasons on the horizon, Apple TV+ subscribers will remain busy for the foreseeable future.
