Taylor Tomlinson has officially joined an elite group of comedians with three stand-up specials on Netflix. On February 13, Tomlinson’s third special, Taylor Tomlinson: Have It All, hit the streaming platform, joining Taylor Tomlinson: Quarter-Life Crisis and Taylor Tomlinson: Look At You

Taylor Tomlinson’s Specials Weave Through Young Womanhood Flawlessly

Fans of Tomlinson who are nearly her age and have watched her specials on Netflix since the first was released have had the unique experience of watching a wholly relatable comedy special each time, particularly single females. In Quarter-Life Crisis, Tomlinson brilliantly and candidly joked about the difficulties that only those in their mid-twenties can relate to, explicitly touching on sex, dating, and relationships, as well as career struggles and friendships. When Look At You came out two years later, her material had grown with her, reflecting the life of someone in their mid-to-late twenties and delving more into her childhood and mental health.

Have It All is no different. Having just turned 30 when she filmed the special, Tomlinson used her stage time to speak about the shared experience of being in a different stage of life than your friends while being the same age, reminding audiences how isolating it can be. As Tomlinson always does, she took some detours to touch on experiences unique to her, like her sexual explorations and family dynamics, but her message remained: growing up, even when you’re already considered a grown-up, is hard.

Where to Find More Taylor Tomlinson

Unlike after her first two specials, Tomlinson is readily available for those craving more of her comedy. The comedian is currently hosting the late-night game show @fter midnight on CBS, filling the slot left behind by James Corden’s The Late Late Show. Tomlinson is still performing live, though due to her new hosting gig, she’s not able to tour across the country, so her live shows are contained to California and an upcoming weekend in Florida.

If you don’t stay up late, don’t live in California or Florida, or simply prefer to watch Tomlinson on Netflix, be patient. Last March, Netflix announced that Tomlinson had signed on for two additional comedy specials, the first being Have It All. Per the agreement, we’re still waiting on another Tomlinson stand-up special for the streamer, with a premiere date yet to come. Hopefully Tomlinson will navigate her early thirties for us in her next hour.
