Streaming has made miniseries more popular than ever, and Netflix is continuing to lead the charge in numbers with a strong showing at the beginning of 2024. Three new miniseries and two older ones will hit the platform throughout January.
Crime and Drama Miniseries
Two of the new Netflix miniseries coming in January revolve around crime. The first of which is Fool Me Once, and it dropped today. Based on the novel of the same name, the eight-episode series centers around a widow who sees something unsettling on her nanny cam. On January 25 comes Griselda, the biography series about the infamous drug lord Griselda Blanco. The titular character is played by Sofia Vergara.
Other Genres Coming, Too
For those not interested in crime, Netlfix has miniseries in other genres this month, too. The documentary series You Are What You Eat: A Twin Experiment, which follows a set of twins for two months as each takes on a separate lifestyle, hit the platform today. Meanwhile, the 2021 animation series Masters of the Universe: Revolution comes on January 25, and the 2014 series Alexander the Great will drop on Netflix on the last day of the month, January 31.
