You Need These Streaming Platforms If You Love Watching Sports

Watching football and sport stream with mobile phone. Man streaming soccer game live, video replay or highlights online with smart device. Sports fan and program of tv network in smartphone screen.

It’s a proud American tradition to kick back with a beer and a big bowl of chips and watch sports. If you love watching sports, here are the best streaming platforms for you.

Peacock

NBC’s official streaming platform, this is the official home of the Olympics, as well as one of the only places to legally watch the Premier League, the world’s largest English-language soccer league. Other benefits include its cheap price (it’s only $5 a month, which is a steal compared to some of the other entries on this list), and that you can watch replays immediately after the end of a live-streamed game.

Peacock’s cons include its inability to record matches, lack of other soccer league coverage (such as La Liga), and lack of a free trial. However, its defining factor is that it’s the home of the Olympics, and watching the world’s greatest sporting event is certainly worth five bucks.

FuboTV

This streaming platform was founded specifically for soccer, which makes it no surprise that this platform earns a spot on our list. In the wonderful world of FuboTV, subscribers can find almost any sport under the sun: they’ve got basketball, football, baseball, hockey, tennis, golf, NASCAR, boxing, and, of course, soccer. You can also customize your streaming plan with add-ons such as Sports Plus and International Sports Plus, which give you increased access to a wider range of channels. With 1,000 hours of DVR space, you’ll have the ability to watch your favorite games time and time again.

The catch? The cost. FuboTV cashes in at a whopping $75 a month, and even more if you purchase the additional add-ons. It’s cheaper than traveling all around the world and shelling out hundreds for big game tickets, sure, but casual sports fans may want to look elsewhere for their sports.

Hulu + Live TV

If you’re an NFL fan, you’ll probably be very happy with Hulu + Live TV. This platform has (almost) every game available for direct streaming – though it will cost you.

Though basic Hulu is only $7.99/month, you’ll need their Live TV add-on to access live sports, which adds a monthly cost. You can get Live TV by itself for $69 a month, but with the number of new TV shows you’re going to get for just a bit extra, you might as well sink it in. One of the major upsides, though, of Hulu + Live TV is that it allows you unlimited DVR space, so you can record as much as you want.
