If you haven’t yet purchased an Apple TV+ subscription, you’re missing out. The streaming platform is rife with undeniably excellent television shows, like these four can’t-miss shows. Stream them this September for your viewing pleasure.

Swagger

If the end of Ted Lasso felt like the loss of a quality sports show, try Swagger. While it doesn’t have the endearing humor of the Jason Sudeikis-led comedy, Swagger has heart and drama, and it’s got just as important messages as Ted Lasso. Inspired by the life of NBA legend Kevin Durant, Swagger fills a gap in programming that desperately needed to be filled, and it doesn’t disappoint.

The Morning Show

One of the most popular Apple TV+ originals to date, The Morning Show, starring Reese Witherspoon and Jennifer Aniston, is returning this September for its third season. The Emmy-winning series follows a popular television network and its employees on the titular morning show after a sexual misconduct scandal rocks the network and the nation. It’s basically a fictionalized version of the Matt Lauer scandal at NBC (although The Morning Show’s showrunner has denied that the show is based on Lauer and NBC).

The show is dramatic and unpredictable, and what’s out now can most certainly be binged ahead of its September 13 return.

The Afterparty

While Apple TV+ isn’t releasing original content at the pace of some of its streaming competitors, it is taking its time to ensure that everything it puts out is quality. Such is the case with The Afterparty. This Tiffany Haddish-led crime-comedy-mystery boasts one hell of a cast, with Sam Richardson, John Cho, Ken Jeong, Elizabeth Perkins, Jack Whitewall, Zach Woods, Ben Schwartz, Ike Barinholtz, Ilana Glazer, and Dave Franco among the recognizable faces and names over its 18 episodes. Season 2 is wrapping on September 6, and many viewers have found it to be better than Season 1.

Foundation

Attention all sci-fi fans: Foundation is a critically acclaimed Apple TV+ series you don’t want to miss. The show is based on the novel series of the same name written by Isaac Asimov and published over a 50-year period in the 20th century. While Season 1 was lauded by critics for its performances and production value, Season 2 has garnered even higher praise thanks to it finding its footing and expounding upon what it cemented in its debut year.

Each of these shows is streaming now on Apple TV+.
