Some people want to search for never-before-seen Christmas films during December – others want to stick strictly to the Christmas classics. If you fall in the latter camp, here’s where to stream four of the best Christmas classics known to man.
‘The Holiday’
This Cameron Diaz, Jude Law, Kate Winslet, and Jack Black rom-com is a Christmas comfort movie. Nancy Meyers did exactly what she needed to do with this film – make you wish you lived thousands of miles away from where you are so you could meet a stranger and fall in love while on holiday. Jack Black might have forgotten that he’s in this film, but we never will. The Holiday will be a warm hug of a movie as long as we’re alive.

‘The Family Stone’
If you don’t want to watch The Family Stone, at least give it a chance because of its cast. Sarah Jessica Parker, Diane Keaton, and Rachel McAdams are enough to convince anybody to watch a movie, even if it is set in a fictional New England town during Christmas. And if you give it a real try, you just might discover a heartwarming tale about difficult family dynamics at Christmastime, and a few sweet romantic storylines.

‘Christmas Vacation’
What more can we say about Christmas Vacation that hasn’t already been said? The Chevy Chase Christmas film has been a classic for years and years, and not having watched it at this point is … a choice. The film is as funny as it purports to be, and at the very least, there are multiple holiday-themed cultural references that you’ll learn from watching it. But if you need any more persuading, Beverly D’Angelo and Julia Louis-Dreyfus are in this movie. Enough said.

‘Fred Claus’
Fred Claus doesn’t get enough credit when it comes to Christmas films. It’s got a great cast and the most beautiful North Pole of any Christmas movie in existence. Vince Vaughn’s specific brand of humor might not translate to every audience, but a group of people will latch on. And those who do will be happy they did.
