Awards season is officially upon us. While the who’s who of Hollywood will be gathering to attend these ceremonies in person, the rest of us will have to watch from home. If you only stream television, here’s how to watch the major awards shows.
The Golden Globes
Airing tonight, January 7, is the Golden Globes. The ceremony is being broadcast on CBS, so it can be streamed live on Paramount+. The ceremony can also be watched on any internet-based streaming service that provides live television and carries CBS.
The Emmys
The 2023 Emmys (pushed back because of the 2023 writers’ and actors’ strikes) is airing on Monday, January 15 on Fox. The ceremony can only be streamed live on internet-based streaming services that provide live television, such as Hulu+ LiveTV, DirecTV, Sling, Fubo, and YouTube TV. The ceremony will be able to stream on-demand on Hulu on January 16.
The Grammys
The Grammys is scheduled for Sunday, February 4. Like the Golden Globes, the ceremony is being broadcast on CBS, so it can be streamed live on Paramount+, as well as internet-based streaming services that provide live television and carry CBS.
The Oscars
The 2024 awards season will end with the Oscars. The ceremony is scheduled for Sunday, March 10 and is being broadcast on ABC. Similarly to the Emmys, the ceremony can only be streamed on internet-based streaming services that provide live television and carry ABC. The ceremony may be available to stream on-demand on Hulu the next day.
